Biography
4 verbs as decoration of a nursery school room. Do. Make. Say. Think. Thus born DMST in Canada, in the mid-1990s. Often regarded as one of the leading players of the Post-rock movement, the band released its first album, eponymous, in 1997 on the famous Canadian label Constellation . Since then, the band has set off at a regular pace, featuring brass (trumpet, saxophone) and electronic elements, and has toured around the world, notably alongside its compatriots from Broken Social Scene. Their latest album, Other Truths, was released in 2009.
That same year, Ohad Benchetrit (guitarist, bassist and saxophonist) released a solo album at Arts&Crafts, under the pseudonym of Years.
