Biography

Crowbar is an American group of Sludge Metal from New Orleans. The band is characterized by slow music and heavy, threatening and tense atmospheres combining fast hardcore punk passages. To date, Crowbar is considered one of the most influential bands on the Metal NOLA scene (i.e., from New Orleans). The line-up is very unstable, only the creator of the formation, Kirk Windstein, is present on all recordings. Crowbar occurs all over the world is enjoys a very good reputation and is often cited in reference to the side of EyeHateGod, Corrosion of Conformity and obviously Down, for the best known.
