Collapse Under The Empire

If one came from Bremen, Chris Burda (Claviers / Battery), the other from Lübben, Martin Grimm (Guitare / Battery), it was in Hamburg, Germany that they met and started together Collapse Under The Empire in 2007. Very productive, the duo hits an ep Paintball (2008), an album Systembreakdown (2009), and a second, Find A Place To Be Safe (2010) via Sister Jack and a new ep, The Sirens Sound (2010), which propels him as one of the most famous Post-Rock bands on the German scene. In 2011, the combo decided to share a split of the name Black Moon Empire with the Russians of Mooncake and gave birth to a third album, Shoulders&Giants, which appeared on the same label. In 2012, the duo signed with Finaltune Records for the release of Fragments Of A Prayer and Sacrifice&Isolation, which continued to increase the reputation of the Post-Rock duo. In 2017, Collapse Under The Empire signed with Moment Of Collapse Records for the release of The Fallen Ones and Everything We Will Leave Beyond Us respectively in 2017 and 2020.
