Cattle Decapitation

Cattle Decapitation's leitmotiv is simple: protest against animal treatments and environmental destruction. Founded in 1996 by vegetarian musicians, the combo from San Diego released its first Homovore opus in 2000 at Three One G, after a demo Ten Torments of the Damned and the EP Human Jerky.
The album To Serve Man makes talk about him when he was released in 2002 because of his cover while Humanure's is controversial and censored. The line-up has evolved enormously since its beginnings, keeping only one original combo member, Travis Ryan, singing, while two former Cattle Decapitation members currently play in The Locust. The combo has notably toured with Suffocation, Deicide, Behemoth or Hate Eternal.
