Carach Angren

Carach Angren (The Steel Jaws - Tolkien) was formed in 2003 in the municipality of Landgraaf in the Netherlands, after two members of Vaultage decided to create a side-project in line with their black metal preferences. Vaultage seemed to be extinguishing as Carach Angren was ready to move on to a higher stage. Their first EP The Chase Vault Tragedy is, like all their works, an album concept. Right after they realized their second EP Ethereal Veiled Existence which raised Maddening Media's attention, who signed them on their label in 2007. It was only in January 2008 that Carach Angren recorded his first real Lammendam record. They finished recording their second album Death Came Through a Phantom Ship, released on February 26, 2010 and were invited to the "A Declaration of Hate", a European tour that brings together the Dark Funeral, Zonaria and Nefarium bands.
