Cannibal Corpse
Biography
Cannibal Corpse is considered to be one of the leading bands of the brutal death metal, although their fame comes more from their sales, their ultra-gorous covers and the controversy that it arouses all over. The group is banned in Korea, Australia and New Zealand. In Germany the songs of the first three albums of the band are forbidden from concerts and the compilations containing these songs are simply deleted, as well as the covers of all their albums. Despite this, Cannibal Corpse is one of the only death metal bands that went back to American billboarding...
The band was founded in 1988 in Buffalo, NY. After a few demos, the band released its first album Eaten Back To Life in 1990, an album noticed by its brutality and primitive violence. The group makes talk about him for his very violent themes and his very gore lyrics. After three albums noticed, and also an appearance in the film Ace Ventura, animalist detective, Chris Barnes, singer of the formation, will form Six Feet Under with members of the Obituary. The band will quickly find a replacement in the person of Georges " Corpsegrinder" Fisher. After a few line-up changes, the band will stabilize and chain albums until Kill, in 2006, the last delivery of the band. The writing of their next album was announced in November 2007 by bassist Alex Webster in an interview. Evisceration Plague , the eleventh studio album by Cannibal Corpse , released on February 3, 2009, is very well received by fans. They also released a live DVD in 2011 entitled Global Evisceration . Cannibal Corpse completed the recording of their new album, Torture, released on March 13, 2012. Their most recent album, entitled A Skeletal Domain, appeared in 2014.
