Biography

One day the Japanese decided to make music. It was Wata's guitar, an exotic and charming person, Takeshi on bass and Atsuo on vocals and drums. The more oppressive the context where music is created, the more extreme is the music created. Boris presents one of the most extreme music, not necessarily in the genre but rather in the way of approaching genres. A nice mess, indeed, is what one would be tempted to say. Imagine the Melvins and their crazy grunge who would meet the Pink Floyd and Earth for sound... Unthinkable. It's a bit of the feeling that we're listening to Boris's cds, something unthinkable...but still very real, one of the artistically major bands of recent years.
