Black Pus

Black Pus is the charming pseudonym used since 2005 by drummer Brian Chippendale for his own hazy delusions, when he is not busy with deconstructing songs with Brian Gibson in Lightning Bolt. On his own, Chippendale took advantage of it to torture all his instruments and even push the song. Not to be mistaken, his music does not lose anything in demand, and some would see in Black Pus a perfect copy/paste of Lightning Bolt . Her latest album, All My Relations (2013), is the first to be released at Thrill Jockey.
