Black Orchid Empire

Black Orchid Empire is an English alternative rock band formed in 2011 in London by Paul Visser (song/guitar), David Ferguson (song/ bass) and drummer Billy Freedom (ex- Queen Adreena). After winning the 2013 Emergenza UK final, the band won more on the alternative rock scene with the release of the album Archetype in November 2016. In May 2018, they reached an agreement with Long Branch Records, and released their second album Yugen. Soon thereafter, Semaphore (2020) and Tempus Veritas (2023). In addition to some leading tours and performances at many festivals such as Standon Calling, Planet Rockstock, Camden Rocks and Taubertal-Festival, the band played first part for Biffy Clyro, Skunk Anansie, InMe, Editors, Black Map and Hed PE.
