Birdflesh

Birdflesh is a Swedish Grind band formed in the early 1990s. The trio will quickly make talk about him on the nascent Swedish scene, being much more violent than most of the bands of the time, and being especially in a humorous and stupid trip contrasting with the seriousness of the bands of the time (you have to see their disguises live...). But Birdflesh will be noticed especially for his originality, not hesitating to stick clarinet or opera in his grind, always remaining as stupid as possible. Over the years, the band will gain a reputation as a cult group in the underground, sharing splits and scenes with many illustrious bands from the extreme world scene (Entombed , Dissection ...), turning around the world, and releasing an impressive number of splits and albums. Birdflesh will be in stand-by for a while in the 2000s, its members being caught up in other equally renowned or even cultic groups, such as General Surgery, Sayyadina or Jigsore Terror ... Coming back at the end of 2006 on a new label and with a new album, Birdflesh pushes his concept even further and still offers his stupid, original and brutal grind...
