Big Business

Big Business formed in 2004 following the meeting of Jared Warren (Karp , The Whip ) and Coady Willis (Murder City Devils ), playing a heavy and slow metal and a very characteristic song. Their sound is compared to that of Karp (the former Jared band), GodheadSilo (another duo) or Melvins. Signed on Hydra Head they released their first mischief in 2005: Head for the Shallow. Stylistically close to them and sharing their humor and second degree it is almost naturally that the duo integrates the Melvins after a move from Seattle to Los Angeles. They then recorded together (A) Senile Animal and set out with them for the Double-Drumming Rock for Peace Tour where Big Business group played the first game (in fact the band played its set and was joined by Crover and Osborne to start the Melvins concert). In 2007 the duo (accompanied by David Scott Stone on guitar and synth) returned with a second album: Here Come the Waterworks which will allow them to make the first part of some dates of Tool's tour in the USA.
