Behexen
Biography
Behexen formed in 1994 near Tampere, Finland. The group quickly chose to compose primitive, fast and aggressive Black Metal. After a few demos, the band released its first album in 2000: Rituale Satanum at a small local label, Sinister Figure. In 2004, a split with Horna, a cult group, affirmed Behexen's intentions. A little later this year, it's By The Blessing Of Satan's turn to see the light of day, and Satan has some success in the European underground Black Metal. The band reveals its powerful, incisive and melodic style. In 2005, the band toured all over Europe as the first part of their Archgoat compatriots. Behexen does not abandon his satanistic attitude and works on the composition and recording of My Soul For His Glory , released in 2008. After a signature on the French label Debemur Morti ( Blut Aus Nord , Year Of No Light , Horna , Arkanum ), Nightside Emanations was born in 2012 and disappointed a part of the fans. Despite the announcement of the departure of Shatraug ( Horna , Sargeist , Nightbringer ) in 2015, this one appears well in the line up that composed and recorded The Poisonous Path , their next album released in 2016 by Debemur Morti.
