Auðn is a Black Metal Atmospheric group founded in Hveragerði, Iceland in 2010. It consists of Hjálmar Gylfason (Basse - Dynfari), Sigurður Kjartan Pálsson (Battery), Aðalsteinn Magnússon (Guitare - Dynfari), Andri Björn Birgisson (Guitare - Dynfari , Negura Bunget ) and Hjalti Sveinsson (Chant). The musicians released a first eponymous album in 2014 in line with bands like Fen, Negura Bunget or Winterfylleth. The quintet thus signed at Season Of Mist for their next album, Farvegir Fyrndar , which appeared in 2017. For the future album, Auðn is now made up of six musicians, with the arrival of Matthías Hlífar Mogensen on bass, allowing Hjálmar Gylfason to move on to a third guitar. This gives Vökudraumsins Fangi, which still appears in 2020 at Season Of Mist.
