Asg
Biography
ASG is a rock trio from Wilmington, North Carolina, formed in 2011 by Jason Shi (Guitare / Chant), Andy Ellis (Basse) and Scott Key (Battery). First named All Systems Go , the trio recorded an eponymous debut album in 2002, allowing them to be noticed by the Volcom Entertainment label that will be released the following year: The Amplification Of Self-Gratification , mixing Punk / Metal / Rock and Stoner influences. After part of the Vans Warped Tour 2003 and 2004, ASG returned with Feeling Good Is Enough in 2005. A second guitarist was recruited in the person of Jonah Citty shortly afterwards who participated in the recording of Win Us Over in 2007. After a very productive period, ASG sets foot on productions and only releases a few splits. Two in 2009 alongside Karma To Burn and Black Tusk, then another in 2013 with Red Fang. Thanks to their influences both Rock/Metal and Punk, and their Volcom label, ASG shoots with Mtörhead, Graveyard, The Misfits, Airbourne, Helmet, Weedeater, Orange Goblin and Torche. Recently signed by Relapse Records, ASG returns a new album even more successful in 2013 entitled Blood Drive . Survive Sunrise , a double album, released in 2018, still on the same label.
