Biography

One-Mand Band formed in 1993 by Johan "Shamaatae" Lahger, Arkanum is a Black Metal band using a Viking/Runique Swede song, carrying forward words focused on Chaos and Satanism in the lineage of Dissection. The musician began with Conquest (future Grotesque) at the age of 11, then formed Disinterment (Death Metal whose career consisted of a demo and a few concerts) until he decided to form Arckanum, thus moving towards a more blacker sound. At the base group in its own right, the musicians leave the combo 6 months after its formation, leaving Shamatae alone master on board. This one comes out of multiple demos and Ep, passing through some albums at Necropolis Records. After a few label changes and splits, Arckanum released his latest album,
