Aosoth

Aosoth is a French Black-Metal group formed in 2002 as a parallel project to Antaeus by its members. MKM (Chant - Antaeus , Temple Of Baal ), Thorgon (Battery - Antaeus , Eternal Majesty ) and Seth (Guitare - Antaeus , Aes Dana ) form the first line-up and immediately exit a split with Antaeus . However, it is necessary to wait for them to be put on standby, to have a return of Aosoth under a new line-up five years later. The only remaining MKM recruits TSB (Guitare, Bass, Battery - The Order Of Apollyon, Aborted, Balrog). In the form of a duo (apart from a few musicians to ensure the concerts), the band is very prolific. Abandoning Antaeus' extreme violence, their Black-Metal marked new paths to dissonance, the aggression became sinuous, vicious, but still unhealthy. After two splits with Antaeus and Temple Of Baal, Aosoth released a first long-format offering in 2008 followed by Ashes Of Angels in 2009. After two splits with Malhkebre and VI , pushing further the experimentation and the malaise, Aosoth composed six songs that formed their third album soberly titled III in 2011.
