Animals As Leaders

The Animal As Leaders project took shape in 2007 when the progressive hardcore group Reflux signed on the Prosthetic Records label. Tosin Abasi, then guitarist of the formation is offered by the label the recording of a solo album. In this proposal Tosin rejects the offer to judge such a company "selfish and useless". It is only after the split of Reflux that he decides to reconsider his decision and then records the eponymous album of Animals As Leaders that landed in the bins in April 2009. The only composer on board was in 2010 that Tosin Abasi recruited a line-up to perform on stage.
