Ancestors

Group psychedelic / stoner / doom from Los Angeles, Ancestors loves old sound and makes it good. With xompositions based on the old jam tradition, the band made its debut in 2006 as a trio (Justin Maranga, Nick Long and Brandon Pierce), which was quickly joined by a fourth member (Chico Foley). A few months later, the fifth member joined them at the organ (J. Christopher Watkins). In August 2008, the band released its first album, Neptune With Fire , two tracks for a total of 39 minutes which appeared at Tee Pee Records (Earless , High On Fire , Witch , The Warlocks ...). In 2009 the band returned with a new album entitled Of Sound Mind .
