Aluk Todolo plays the Occult Rock. Shantidas Riedacker (Guitare), Matthieu Canaguier (Basse) and Antoine Hadjioannou (Battery) are inspired by the coldness and violence of the Black-Metal, the Noise dissonances, the hypnotic Drone vibrations and the progressive elements of the Krautrock. Aluk Todolo is the missing link between Burzum, Sunn O)), This Heat and Can. Their first experiments took place on an eponymous basis in 2006, quickly followed by Descension the following year. Two years later, the band released a second album: Finsternis . In 2012, Aluk Todolo gave a new esoteric dimension to his discography with the well-known Occult Rock.
