Although trained in 1987, there is little talk of Alchemist Australians. However, the group has enjoyed remarkable stability since its inception, of which few can boast. With a lineup completely stabilized since 1992, the group has continuously developed a very personal and totally atypical musical universe combining ecological consciousness, cosmic tripes and reflection on the human being along its passages in the studio. At the margin of the metal cannons and with no great scoring, however, the Australians continue to win listeners over time. They were recently found in support of Meshuggah during their visit to Australia or the 2008 Hellfest. As the group worked on an EP, in 2010 members announced that they would put Alchemist in Hiatus for an indefinite period.
