Absinthe Provisoire

Absinthe (Provisional) is a post-Rock Montpellieran group formed 6 years ago. Many concerts alongside Party Of One, Horse De Frise and especially the first part of Godspeed You! Black Emperor , led to an eponymous 2003 album produced by Hydrophonics. 2006, a second album has just been recorded at the Magic Circle studio in Montpellier by London's Neil Conti (David Bowie , Prefab Sprout ...) and mastered by Daniel Lazerus at the Chace Studio in Los Angeles. The music of Absinthe (Provisional) oscillates between meditative melancholy, noise tensions, muddy ambient universes, bankal and extreme climates, and constantly opens up to other musical possibilities.
