Portugal's masked collective Gaerea has announced their upcoming fifth album and Century Media debut, 'Loss', alongside the release of their new single, 'Hellbound'.

Building on their previous work, 'Hellbound' showcases Gaerea's unwavering commitment to musical extremity and unbridled passion. The song is a captivating representation of the band at their most uncompromising, delving into themes of guilt, heartbreak, and self-destruction through searing riffs and visceral vocals.

Gaerea's 'Loss' is set to be released on 20th March 2026, featuring a fusion of elements from their post-black metal past with sharpened sonics and haunting melodies. This new album finds the band emerging from creative chrysalis and bursting into something captivating and unexpected - an evolution that incorporates catchy choruses and passionate singing while maintaining Gaerea's signature emotional resonance.

In recent months, Gaerea has brought their high-energy live show to Europe, performing at stages across the continent as they headlined sold-out crowds and festival appearances, including Brutal Assault, Alcatraz, and Summer Breeze. In October and November, Gaerea will embark on the Swedish upstart Orchestra Orchestra's headline tour of the UK and Europe for their upcoming Century Media debut 'Death Above Life.',
