Alexisonfire to Release Covers EP 'Copies Of Old Masters: Volume 1', Featuring Canadian Classics

Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire is set to release a new covers EP titled 'Copies Of Old Masters: Volume 1' on November 07th via Dine Alone Records. The four-song outing marks the band's tribute to their Canadian roots, with each track given its own unique spin.
The EP's lead single is Alexisonfire's rendition of The Tragically Hip's 1992 classic 'Fully Completely'. This isn't the first time the band has performed the track live, dating back as far as 2007. Fans may recall Alexisonfire also covering Doughboys' 'Neighbourhood Villain', Shallow North Dakota's 'Cuz', and Rusty's 'Misogyny'.
George Pettit, frontman of Alexisonfire, comments on the project: We love fun and never shy away from trying something new. And so, we decided to put our own spin on these classic tracks. It was a thrill to experiment with covers like this.
Dine Alone Records will release 'Copies Of Old Masters: Volume 1' on November 07th.
