The Devil Wears Prada Unveils New Single & Music Video 'Eyes'

The Devil Wears Prada have released their latest single, 'Eyes,' ahead of their ninth studio album, Flowers, scheduled for release on November 14th via Solid State Records.

The track is now streaming on YouTube and Spotify.

To commemorate the launch, a music video directed by Wyatt Clough (Silverstein, Beartooth) has been created. This marks the sixth single from the 14-track album.

The album's keyboardist/programmer, Jonathan Gering, shared his thoughts on the new song:

'Eyes' is about coming to a point in life where you start to question the reality of what you once believed, and it captures the feeling of wanting to break away from something that has only worked against you. It's a struggle to find a new way to move forward.'

The album's guitarist/vocalist, Jeremy DePoyster, further explained the song:

'Eyes' is a song about desperately yearning for answers and wondering why you keep ending up in the same place without a clear path forward. When anxiety takes hold and what we've been taught doesn't offer any solutions, one searches for clarity and hope.'

Sonically, this song is a journey of contrasting elements tight melodic verses contrasting with fuzzed out riffs.

Overall, 'Eyes' serves as an anthem when you need reassurance that no one has the answers. We're all doing our best, it seems.
