Mystic Festival is pleased to announce four more bands joining the 2026 lineup, including Louisiana sludge masters Down, metal enthusiasts from around the world will gather in Gdansk, Poland at the historic Gdansk Shipyard from June 3rd through 6th, 2026. Down will bring their signature heavy sound to the festival, known for their monumental riffs and infectious groove. This supergroup, featuring Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Pepper Keenan (Corrosion of Conformity), Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), Jimmy Bower (Crowbar, Eyehategod), and Pat Brider (Goatwhore), has earned its reputation through both the individual contributions of each member and the quality of their music. Fans can look forward to new material as they tease fresh sounds in anticipation of this highly anticipated performance.
Additional bands adding to festival excitement are Boston-based horror metal band Ice Nine Kills, renowned for their intense live shows and versatility in delivering thrills through a combination of melodic metalcore, the intensity of hardcore, and classic heavy metal choruses. The Swedes Evergrey are set to bring their exceptional progressive metal sound, marrying influences from both power and gothic metal with emotive depth, proving to be one of Sweden's standout bands on and off stage. Last but not least, crust punk-infused black metal outfit Martyrdd joins the lineup in Poland with its ability to unleash energy through rhythmic elements and intense sonic assault.
