Finnish melodic death metal stalwarts Omnium Gatherum are set to release their new single, 'Walking Ghost Phase', as a precursor to their upcoming album "May The Bridges We Burn Light The Way", dropping on November 7th.

Inspired by the 80s, the song is an exploration of addiction in its various forms. Lead vocalist Jukka Pelkonen explains that the title, 'Walking Ghost Phase', refers to a state where one becomes trapped in a cycle of self-deception and destructive behavior, much like those exposed to radiation following the Chernobyl disaster.

Guitarist Markus Vanhala notes that 'Walking Ghost Phase' embodies the more straightforward, high-energy side of the album, guaranteed to get crowds pumped up. He also emphasizes the presence of more experimental tracks on the upcoming record, assuring fans that there will be something for everyone.

The single's accompanying visualizer video has been released, which can be viewed below. This latest offering from Omnium Gatherum builds anticipation for the highly anticipated album release later this year.
