Chris McCarthy's 90s/early-2000s riffs with Pervelis's 70s/80s-inspired licks, in an effort to strike the ideal balance between them. Pervelis stated that 'revenge is better than any drug,' and he believes that their rendition of this song embodies that sentiment: a powerful anthem aptly titled 'The Heroic Dose'.
