The Devil Wears Prada have unveiled a short film that seamlessly blends their two newly released tracks, 'Where The Flowers Grow' and 'Wave.' Directed by longtime collaborator Wyatt Clough, the cinematic piece is titled 'That Same Place Where The Flowers Never Grow. The first of these two tracks made its live debut in So Paulo, Brazil over the weekend. In a statement, guitarist/vocalist Jeremy DePoyster reflected on 'Where The Flowers Grow,' saying: 'This song is about realizing that despite outer appearances, there is a hidden place of darkness within our minds... where flowers never grow.' DePoyster aimed to create a sense of empathy with those who may be struggling with mental health issues, stating, 'I hope anyone who hears the song feels seen and not alone in their darkest corners.' The Devil Wears Prada's ninth studio album, 'Flowers,' is set to be released on November 14th via Solid State Records. Produced by band member Jonathan Gering, with Sam Guaiana handling engineering duties, Zakk Cervini overseeing mixing and mastering, and a team of additional collaborators including Tyler Smyth, Austin Coupe, Colin Brittain, Bobby Lynge, and Marshall Gallagher. The album will offer an in-depth look into the band's 20-year journey, featuring 14 tracks such as 'That Same Place,' 'Where The Flowers Never Grow,' 'Everybody Knows,' and more.
