Paradise Lost Unveils Haunting Single 'Serpent On The Cross' From Upcoming Album Ascension


British gothic metal band Paradise Lost has premiered the official music video for their latest single 'Serpent On The Cross'. The track, which is set to feature on their upcoming seventeenth studio album Ascension, now scheduled for release on September 18th via Nuclear Blast.

Frontman Nick Holmes shared insight into the song's lyrical themes, saying: 'The cross represents stability, prosperity, hope and happiness. The serpent represents trepidation, anguish and overbearing sadness, lurking in the shadows ready to take everything away.'

Crafted by visuals director Lars Kristoffer Hormander, the music video for 'Serpent On The Cross' offers a haunting glimpse into the band's latest musical creation.
