Belarusian Sludge/Doom/Death quartet Matraque is set to release their highly anticipated debut album Nature Morte on May 1st via Lithuania's Ashen Tree Records. With a sound that echoes the heavier offerings of Grief, Meth Drinker, and Primitive Man, Matraque takes listeners on a sonic journey through the darker corners of human emotion.

In 2023, Matraque began their musical journey in Minsk, drawing inspiration from various sources including previous projects such as Rowan, Televoid, Krvvla, Schism, Kusto., Coat, and Laska.
