Emberthrone Reveals New Single 'Dulling The Blade' Featuring Drummer Andrew Baird
Emberthrone have released their latest single, 'Dulling The Blade', which is now available to stream on YouTube and Spotify. The band features a talented lineup of vocalist Monte Barnard (formerly a touring member with Fallujah), guitarist Martin Bianchini (a prolific session worker with Dance Gavin Dance), and bassist Quentin Garcia (a founding member of Man On the Moon). Drummer Andrew Baird, formerly of All Shall Perish and ex-Fallujah, has joined the group, replacing Gabe Seeber.
Emberthrone's forthcoming EP, 'Cursive', is set for release on July 04th via Seek And Strike. In an exclusive statement regarding their new track, Monte Barnard offered insight into the songwriting process, stating: '
'This is my favorite song Martin and I have ever written together.'
The core of Emberthrone's sound has been shaped by the collaboration of Barnard and Bianchini for almost 20 years, with Quentin Garcia being an integral part of the group since its inception. The addition of Andrew Baird on drums has elevated the track to a new level, exploring themes of coping with life's challenges through both healthy and destructive means. 'Dulling The Blade' is a thought-provoking exploration of the blurred lines between what benefits us and what hinders us.
