Byzantine Reveals New Single and Music Video 'Floating Chrysanthema' from Upcoming Studio Album 'Harbingers'

We are pleased to announce that Byzantine has released their latest single, Floating Chrysanthema, in conjunction with the introduction of their highly anticipated seventh studio album, Harbingers.

The West Virginia-based groove metal group recorded this addition to their repertoire with acclaimed producer Peter Wichers (Darkest Hour, Nevermore), with Metal Blade Records set to release it on June 13th.

Commenting on the newly released track, vocalist and guitarist Chris Ojeda shared his insights: This song delves into a bleak dystopian future where artificial intelligence achieves sentience, overpowering humanity and resulting in our enslavement. Our bassist, Ryan Postlethwait, originally brought this concept to our attention, and we believed it aligned perfectly with our recent musical direction. Peter Wichers played a pivotal role in helping shape the song into its final form.

The track list for 'Harbingers' can be revealed as follows:

01 Consequentia

02 A Place We Cannot Go

03 Floating Chrysanthema

04 The Clockmakers Intention

05 Riddance

06 Harbinger

07 The Unobtainable Sleep

08 Kobayashi Maru

09 Irene

Byzantine's forthcoming work promises to further assert their position as a force in the groove metal scene, and fans will have to wait until June 13th for another taste of what this band has to offer.
