Phoenix, AZ-based groove metal outfit Incite has released their latest standalone single, Just A Rat. The track is now available to stream via YouTube and Spotify, accompanied by a music video co-directed by Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera.

The production on the song was handled by renowned producer Steve Evetts, who previously worked with the band on several occasions. Mixing duties fell to Arthur Rizk, known for his work with Soulfly and Blood Incantation.

Incite's frontman Richie Cavalera shared his vision behind the release: 'Just A rat' marks a new direction for the band, blending heavy riffs with relatable lyrics.

'The whole song is unique and, in my opinion, represents a fresh take on metal music. I drew inspiration from everyday experiences, including dealing with unwanted critters.
