Doomsday Unleash Debut Album 'Never Known Peace'

Doomsday, an Oakland-based crossover thrash band, has announced their highly anticipated debut full-length album, 'Never Known Peace', to be released next month via Creator-Destructor Records. This marks their follow-up to the 2021 EP 'Depictions Of Chaos', which generated significant attention from thrash metal enthusiasts.

Characterized by their unique blend of classic thrash energy and raw intensity, Doomsday's sound is deeply rooted in influential acts such as Sepultura, Slayer, Iron Age, Metallica, and Power Trip. Rather than paying homage to their idols, the band embodies the spirit of true thrash metal, carrying on a legacy that demands respect.

To celebrate the imminent arrival of 'Never Known Peace', Doomsday has released its eponymous title track, 'Never Known Peace'. The song embodies the chaotic energy and aggressive ferocity that has come to define this Oakland-based quartet. Fans can expect an intense sonic experience, guaranteed to ignite even the most subdued mosh pits.

In a statement about the title track, Charlie D., Doomsday's frontman, explained its purpose: 'I wanted this song to reflect my personal struggles with inner turmoil and feelings of irredeemability. I aim to shed light on these vulnerable moments through our music, avoiding any fear of discussing sensitive topics. The energy of Sepultura's 'Chaos A.D.' album was a key inspiration for this track, especially the song 'Propaganda,' which we sought to capture essence from. We've worked tirelessly to create an anthem that fans can connect with on both a headbanging and moshing level its our ultimate goal.
