Retromorphosis, the latest incarnation of Spawn of Possession, has finally emerged from its eight-year slumber. This time, however, Jonas Bryssling is not alone in his musical endeavors. He has reunited with former bandmates and ex-Obscura and Necrophagist guitarist Christian Muenzner.

The addition of former Decrepit Birth drummer KC Howard brings a new dynamic to the band's sound, infusing it with nostalgic elements reminiscent of old-school technical death metal. This synergy has unlocked the long-anticipated next chapter in the genre's evolution.
