Jivebomb have made their latest single, 'Estrela', available online. The Baltimore-based hardcore band is set to include the track on their debut album 'Ethereal', which will be released on March 28th via Flatspot Records.

Frontwoman Kat Madeira drew inspiration from Billie Holiday's rendition of 'Gloomy Sunday' when writing the song, citing it as a key influence. In an interview, she stated,
Madeira explained that the lyrics were written earlier and that her recent listening to Billie Holiday's version of 'Gloomy Sunday' had an impact on the songs.

She referenced the line from Holiday's song, 'Angels have no thoughts of ever returning you would they be angry if I thought of joining you?' as a key element in 'Estrela.'
